Yom Ha’atzmaut Oneg

This is a popular annual event, attracting a multi-generational crowd. The Yom Ha’atzmaut (Independence Day) Oneg Shabbat celebrates the achievements of Israel on the nearest Friday to its birthday. It comprises a special musical Friday Night Service, followed by meat-free supper with wine, and music from everyone’s favourite klezmer band Shir!, with film footage, or a guest speaker, and of course lots of Israeli dancing for all the family.
